Maple Skinner

Here is a new skinner. Based on the Schrade design. Handle is flamed maple and has beetle kill in it. Thats what gives it the extra colors. It is extremely hard but polishes nice and smooth. I did something different with the dowels. They are made from a 3/16 Allen wrench. This blade went for $200. I'm having a hard time keeping up with demand. If you are interested in a blade shoot me an email. Aaron@BlueCollarBikeWerks.com

Bowie Knife

I didn't make this knife... yet...  I have been collecting knives as long as I can remember.  This is a Gil Hibben Bowie.  The blade is 14 inches long!  According to the paperwork that came with the knife it is comparable dimensionally to what they carried back in the 1800's.  I have some pretty big spring leafs... when I get a chance I'm gonna try to knock one of these bad boys out.

Pecan Skinner

This is a skinner I did for a client over Christmas.  Kindof patterned after the schrade skinners.  Handle is pecan.  Looks killer with just a little linseed oil.  No stain just the natural coloring of the wood.

Benefit Knife

Here is a skinner I made and donated to a medical benefit for a local biker.

NBYC Trophy

Here is a trophy I built last spring for the New Braunfels Yacht Club. They do an annual cardboard boat race and have been there every year so far. This trophy was made to be held for a year and passed on to a new winner every time.

Custom Sidecar

This is a custom sidecar we built for Duane in San Antonio. Duane is a disabled Vet who is confined to a powerchair. He hadn't ridden his bike in over two years. We built everything from scratch from the ground up. With the help of Dennis Ricketts and Josh Ricketts we made Duanes dream of riding again a reality. Basically there is an electric winch that operates the tailgate. He rides the powerchair in and closes the ramp. Then hops over to the saddle and off he goes. When he gets to his destination he hops back in the chair and he is mobile again. This was a interesting project to say the least. But we hold Veterans and Service members in the highest regard. It was all worth it to see the smile on his face from being back in the wind.
